Candid Security Ltd. is a service-oriented security company, dedicated to being the premier supplier of an all-inclusive blend of security services to the Bahamas chain of islands.

As society gets more complex so too does the varying security needs of each customer, as such, we at Candid have chosen to focus on the individual customer’s need to secure their person and property, whether through one or more of our existing products that feature our highly trained and dedicated guards, mobile patrols and armored service, or through the addition of extended security services that can be tailored to fit your needs.
At Candid we also strive to mitigate all foreseeable risk to our customers. This is done by ensuring that we employ and assign to our customers the people best suited and qualified to their particular job. As well as ensuring we have adequate insurance coverage in the unlikely event that our customers incur a loss while we’re providing them with our services.
Company History
Candid Security Ltd. is a privately held company that was co-founded in 1997 by Cleveland A. Duncombe and Marcia Duncombe. The company began with a small security staff of about 15 security officers providing security staff to one hotel on the island of Grand Bahama. Through the vision of its Board of Directors, the direction of its management and the hard work of dedicated staff, the company has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of security services in the whole of the Bahamas.
With Head Offices in Freeport, the company has provided services to some of the other islands of the Bahamas, including Bimini, and since the beginning of 2010 has established deep seated roots in the Nassau market.
In addition to expanding the markets we have served since 1997, we have also expanded the products and services we offer. In 2002 we launched our armored service division. This was followed by our mobile patrol in 2007, and in 2008 we began our focus on aviation security. In keeping in line with our vision of not only providing security but safety as well, we also began providing wheel chair services to airline passengers in 2011.
