The first phase of protecting your property begins with the staffing decissions made by our management team. At Candid we place the significant emphasis on our staff selection process, and employ various hiring methods, that sometimes includes background checks and a series of rigurous interview techniques.
Training
Training plans are developed for each client based on specified needs determined through a security assessment and client agreement process. Progress can then be tracked against the training plan, regulatory requirements and client agreements and reported to the client on a regular basis.
Our training is delivered through a blended approach, utilizing classroom learning, on-the-job training and mentoring. Security Officer training is structured into three-tiered professional development plans which include:
- Specialized security training
- Communication, social and interaction training
- Patrol and patrol techniques
- First Aid and CPR

Candid Security understands that inspections play a major role in ensuring customers receive the best possible security service delivery. As such, we have developed a system of formal and informal inspections, conducted on a routine and ad hoc basis, in order to achieve our objective of providing you with involved, focused and competent security officers, who convey security in both their actions and presence.
